every once in a while i find myself
with a reason to go chasing somebody else
maybe something that i heard maybe something i felt
was there
i'd like to say that it's happened a couple of ways
but only one of one ending seems to know my name
fall in love without permission then there's nothing but space
wishes make a hollow sound

i should have learned my lesson the first time

i'll get a dog and buy a boat

find a place to watch the sunset
